ISLAMABAD: Three people died and two became unconscious after consuming ‘poisonous’ food in Sadiqabad, Punjab on Thursday.
In the Christian Colony of Sadiqabad, three people reportedly died, and two more were sent to the hospital after taking poisonous food. According to the authorities, an autopsy of the victims is being done to determine the cause of the deaths, as samples of the food have been taken. On December 9 of last year, a mother and her daughter in Lahore died from eating poisoned food.
Poisonous Food
According to the details, Muhammad Ismail, a Shera Kot resident, bought “Dahi Bhallay” from a shop for his family. Three of the family’s eight members conditions deteriorated after eating the “Dahi Bhallay”
They were taken to a neighbouring hospital, where doctors declared the mother and her daughter dead. Her 12-year-old son was in critical condition and was still unconscious, according to hospital sources. — APP
