ISLAMABAD: At least three Amry personnel embraced martyrdom and over 16 sustained serious injuries when terrorists attacked Dera Ismael Khan (DI Khan) Police Station in the wee hours of Tuesday.
The district administration has imposed an emergency in the city’s hospitals as casualties are feared to rise. The attack targeted the Daraban police station in Dera Ismail Khan, resulting in the martyrdom of three brave soldiers.
The assailants struck around 3am, employing a car laden with explosives at the main gate of the police station, causing widespread panic and chaos. The police officials who lost their lives in the line of duty were identified as Havaldar Riasat and Sepoy Zalafiqar. The attack triggered a swift response from the police and law-enforcing agencies.
As the situation unfolds, there is a growing fear of more casualties among the police force. Emergency measures have been put in place at the local hospital to manage the influx of casualties and allocate necessary resources for medical assistance.
