The Simpsons Mark 35th Season with New Extended Trailer

LOS ANGELES: An extended trailer of The Simpsons was released on Monday to celebrate the 35th season of the animated series.

“Feeling worthless at work, Homer volunteers to be a school crossing guard,” says a description of the new season’s first episode.

The American show, featuring Homer Simpson, his wife Marge, and their children Bart, Lisa and Maggie, is the longest-running show in television history.

According to a press release, in the new season, Marge experiences nightmares regarding her son Bart’s childhood coming to an end; while her husband Homer unintentionally volunteers for a school crossing guard position.

“The Simpsons” is Gracie Films Production in association with 20th Television. James L. Brooks, Matt Groening, Matt Selman and Al Jean will be the executive producers for the coming season.

The Simpsons was started in 1987 and has so far released 750 episodes in 34 Seasons.
