ISLAMABAD: The Pakistani security forces killed a terrorist as he attempted to cross the Pak-Afghan border into Afghanistan in the Zorm Sector in North Waziristan (NW), the security officials said on Thursday.
According to the details, the security forces got into action promptly after they spotted some terrorists crossing the Pak-Afghan border. One terrorist was killed, while two others were injured as the security forces opened fire at them. The dead body of the killed terrorist was immediately taken into custody.
The killed terrorist belonged to Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Hafiz Gul Bahadar Group and was wanted by the security forces in connection with his role in several terrorist activities.
Terrorists feeling the heat in NW
The sources further said that the terrorist, faced with increasing internal rifts and security forces’ lashing, are now trying to cross the border into Afghanistan but the security forces have been keeping an eye on their movement.
