PESHAWAR: A wanted terrorist who martyred the ISI officers was killed during Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) in the Kurram tribal district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
The terrorist who martyred two ISI officers in Khanewal was killed by the security agencies during an operation.
According to the details, on January 3, 2023, a terrorist named Umar Niazi shot and killed Naveed Sadiq, the director of an intelligence agency, and Nasir Abbas, an inspector, in Khanewal.
Intelligence agencies tracked the terrorist day and night, using extreme diligence and advanced technology to nab him before he fled to Afghanistan.
Security forces operation in Kurram tribal district
Acting on intelligence information, the law enforcement agencies conducted a joint operation in Kurram Agency and arrested Umar Niazi in injured condition. However, he succumbed to his injuries later.
The operation shows that terrorists, no matter how clever they are, cannot escape the grip of the law. Umar Niazi also belonged to a terror group.
