PRAGUE: Saudi Arabia’s embassy in the Czech Republic has said that ten Saudis have been injured in a road accident in the country, Arab media reported on Wednesday.
The officials said that the wounded people are in stable condition. The embassy in the European country said that four people were hospitalized while six were discharged from the hospital.
Ten Saudis Wounded in Road Accident in Czech Republic
The accident happened on a Czech highway in the southeast of the country. Local media reported that one person was killed and 76 injured in the traffic accident. The mishap took place when one of the buses hit the back of the other. 14 seriously wounded people were shifted by helicopters to nearby hospitals.

In a statement, the Saudi embassy in the country said, the Saudi nationals were among a group of tourists visiting the Czech Republic. The embassy immediately swung into action to provide all forms of help and reassurance on the citizens’ health condition and ensure medical aid and treatment.
The statement maintained, “The embassy would like to inform that there are 4 Saudis who are still in the hospital but their condition is stable. Their matters are being followed up with the competent Czech authorities,”.
