Ten Killed After Two Helicopters Collide in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: At least people were killed on Tuesday following two helicopters collided in mid-air during a rehearsal for a Royal Malaysian Navy parade, the military officials said on a statement.

According to the statement issued by the Malaysian Navy, all ten were crew members aboard the aircraft involved in the mishap. It added that the accident took place at the Lumut naval base in the western state of Perak on Tuesday morning.

The statement maintained that all victims were confirmed dead on the sport. The officials further said that the dead bodies have been shifted to the Lumut army base hospital for identification.
