Ten Countries’ Joint Exercise Tuwaiq 3 Concludes in Saudi Arabia

ISLAMABAD: The joint air exercise maneuvers Tuwaiq 3 were successfully concluded at Prince Sultan Airbase in Saudi Arabia’s Central Sector on Tuesday, with the participation of 10 countries including host Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, Morocco, UAE, Jordan, USA, Italy, United Kingdom, and Greece.

The joint drills were conducted in three phases over two weeks, in which several military operations and maneuvers were carried out. Various air, technical and operational lectures and seminars with aircraft commanders and crews were also organized.

All forces’ outstanding performance in exercise

Lieutenant Colonel Pilot Shafi Al-Harbi, the head of the planning cells for the “Tuwaiq 3” maneuvers, said that the performance of all forces in the drill was outstanding and the planned goals of these exercises are achieved.

The drills aimed to increase cooperation, raise the training level in planning and executing tactical airlift missions, exchange experiences, and enhance operational readiness to carry out tactical airdrop missions.
