ISLAMABAD: The Diabetes Centre Islamabad organized a free awareness session and medical camp in the federal capital on Monday, attracting many experts and visitors.
The venue for the session was Headstart School, GulMohar Campus H/11. The students and faculty members also attended the session.
On the occasion, Shahzad Lodhi, Head of Marketing and Communications TDC, said that Hospital’s Chair, Dr. Asjad Hameed, CEO, Mr. Tahir M Abbasi, and BODs have resolved to make Pakistan a diabetes-free country.
Shafaq Bushra, a Nutritionist at TDC, explained the importance of a healthy lifestyle in her presentation. While the Principal of Headstart School, Lubna Fareed, appreciated TDC’s efforts and distributed certificates of appreciation among students and TDC officials.
Faculty members actively participated in the free Diabetes screening camp.
