Task Force on Gandhara Tourism to Organize Int’l Conference

ISLAMABAD: The Prime Minister’s Task Force on Gandhara Tourism will organize an international conference on 11, 12 July with the theme “Revival of Gandhara Civilization and Buddhist Heritage in Pakistan”.

The purpose of organizing the Conference is to promote cultural diplomacy and religious tourism. It is a link to bring Pakistan closer to Buddhist-majority nations.

The conference would be organized under the vision of interfaith harmony of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.

President Dr. Arif Alvi, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto, Chairman PM’s Task Force on Gandhara Tourism Dr. Ramesh Kumar Vankwani and Minister for Religious Affairs Senator Talha Mehmood will attend the seminar.

The PM will be the chief guest on the first day of the seminar. Bilawal Bhutto would deliver the keynote address at the seminar, while Vankwani will deliver the welcome speech.

Foreign guests in conference

Foreign dignitaries from Malaysia, China, Thailand, Myanmar,  South Korea, Vietnam will attend the symposium.
