KABUL: Deputy spokesman of the Taliban, Bilal Karimi, has justified the decision to ban women’s education in universities in Afghanistan.
While giving an interview to Arab TV, Bilal Karimi said that the Taliban have given women the rights they did not have in the past.
Ban on university education for indefinite period
It should be remembered that according to the letter sent by the Ministry of Higher Education of Afghanistan to all public and private universities, the Taliban decided to ban university education for women in Afghanistan for an indefinite period last month. This decision of the Taliban was severely criticized by the international community.
In response, the Minister of Higher Education of the Taliban, Nida Mohammad Nadim, said in his statements that even if they drop an atomic bomb on us, we will not step back from our decision.
