ISLAMABAD: President Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan will pay a two-day official visit to Pakistan from December 14 to December 15 December at the special invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Tajikistan and Pakistan are linked through historical, cultural, and religious bonds. Both countries have strong ties of exceptional cordiality and mutual respect. Pakistan and Tajikistan have common views on various international and regional issues.
Tajikistan is Pakistan’s closest neighbor and important partner in the Central Asia region.
Both countries will discuss how to strengthen mutual cooperation in different fields. During this, various MoUs and agreements will be signed between neighboring countries.

This visit by the president of Tajikistan to Pakistan will highly contribute to further deepening the relations of mutual cooperation in both countries and strengthening the geo-economic partnership.
