ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Wheelchair Cricket Council (PWCC) announced on Wednesday that the second edition of the T20 Wheelchair Cricket Asia Cup 2023 will take place from October 2 to 8 in the neutral location of Kathmandu, Nepal.

The event, which is being hosted by Pakistan, was originally scheduled to happen in July but was moved to October because of Kathmandu’s rainy season, said President PWCC Rookhsana Rajpoot, who is in Kathmandu to oversee preparations for the event.

Rookhsana said that the PWCC was prepared to organize the tournament in Pakistan, but the decision was made to move it to Nepal due to certain travel concerns with the Indian team.

She promised that every effort would be taken to ensure the event’s success. We’ll make every effort to make sure that the event’s contests are thrilling for the audience, she said.
