ISLAMABAD: The Education Department is yet to finalize the syllabus of Matriculation for non-Muslim students.
The final matriculation exams will take place from 1st April 2023. This delay in finalizing syllabi for non-Muslims has put the students’ futures at risk. The syllabus is expected to be released by the education department at the start of January, while exams are in April, leaving less than three months for the students to prepare for the exams.

Families and teachers of students have expressed displeasure and concern over the delay.
In related news, the prime minister (PM) of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, attended a Christmas celebration ceremony last week at a church in Islamabad. He appreciated the country’s religious minorities and vowed to safeguard their rights.
While honoring the Christian community of Pakistan on this occasion, Prime Minister Shehbaz commended the community for its contributions to the nation since independence and sacrifices. He talked about sharing joy on this special occasion. He expressed that Pakistan’s minorities’ services will always be greatly valued. He added that nation would not forget the contributions of its minorities toward the country’s prosperity and development.
