ISLAMABAD: Huge fire erupted at Sunday Bazaar – locally known as Itwar Bazaar – at Peshawar Mor in the H-9 Sector of Islamabad here on Wednesday evening.
According to the details, the fire brigades’ staff, fire extinguishers, and rescue officials arrived on the scene to control the blaze and rescue the traders and visitors.
According to some eyewitnesses, a short circuit caused the fire, which engulfed a part of the weekly Bazaar.
Fire incidents at Sunday Bazaar
The weekly Bazaar (Itwar Bazaar) is located in H-9 Sector, and such incidents happened countless times in the past.
The weekly Bazaar is next to the Metro Bus Depot, and the last time it caught fire was back in April 2022.
