ISLAMABAD: The Punjab government has extended the summer vacation for all public and private chools across the province until August 31 with institutions set to reopen on September 1.
The decision, announced through an official notification by the School Education Department on Wednesday.
Dawn.com cited the notification as stating, all district education authorities (DEAs) have been instructed to ensure strict compliance with the revised schedule.
Open from September 1st
Punjab School Education minister Rana Sikandar Hayat also posted about extension of summer vacations through his X account (formally known as twitter).
“Schools in Punjab will be opened from Sept 1,” he wrote.
