ISLAMABAD: Dozens of students from across Pakistan gathered outside Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) to protest against the irregularities in the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT).

Students said that last year in 2021, the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) conducted by Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) consisted of a lot of irregularities, against which the students fought and even staged a dharna at D Chowk, in which thousands of students got grace marks and a new council of PMC was formed.
MDCAT 2022
This year MDCAT 2022 was as per the exact demands of the students, but there were some things that needed to be corrected due to which the students are facing problems. The test conducted at Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto University had a lower faculty level than the test conducted in other provinces. Students demanded that an equivalence formula should be made so that no student rights are violated.
The students said they would continue the protest demonstration until the responsible authority met their demands. Students were carrying banners inscribed with slogans like “We Want Justice.”
