ISLAMABAD: The Caretaker Sindh Minister for Home and Prisons, Brig. (R) Haris Nawaz, on Saturday issued directives to the police department and other LEAs (Law Enforcing Agencies) to ensure foolproof security arrangements in the context of the Christmas festival and with the birth anniversary of the father of the nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
While issuing directives to IGP Sindh, the minister said that the police would remain fully alert and watchful to foil any nefarious design of miscreant elements and troublemakers. The minister also directed arrangements of vigilant security around Mazar-e-Quaid, churches, worship places, markets, hotels, shopping areas, parks, and other sensitive and populated sites in all districts of the province by utilizing all available resources.
Haris Nawaz further directed that security should be beefed up at all relevant inter-districts and inter-provincial check posts to implement the special security plan properly across the province.
