Strawberry Papad Recipe

ISLAMABAD: Strawberry Papad Recipe is a delightful blend of sweetness and tanginess just like mango papad.

Ingredients:

1 kg strawberries

2 tbsp soaked chia seeds

2 tbsp sugar

1 tsp lemon juice

1/2 tsp vanilla essence

Chaat masala

Instructions:

  1. In a blender, combine rinsed and sliced strawberries, sugar, lemon juice, soaked chia seeds, and vanilla essence. Blend until you achieve a smooth paste. For the best flavor and juiciness, use fresh strawberries instead of frozen.
  2. Once blended, set the mixture aside. In a pan, pour in the strawberry puree and cook over medium-high heat for 10-15 minutes until it thickens into a wobbly sauce.
  3. Preheat your oven to 175°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Pour the strawberry mixture onto the tray and bake for 3-4 hours, ensuring it dries out completely and is no longer sticky. If needed, extend the baking time by an additional 4-5 minutes.
  4. After baking, allow the sheet tray to cool. Carefully peel the strawberry sheet from the parchment paper.
  5. Trim any excess edges, sprinkle chaat masala on top, and cut into small strips or roll them up. Your strawberry papad is now ready to enjoy.
