State Bank of Pakistan Reserves Increase $393 million, Stand at $4.46 Billion

ISLAMABAD: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said on Thursday that its foreign exchange reserves increased $393 million, clocking in at almost $4.46 billion as of June 30.

A statement issued by the country’s central bank, “During the week concluded on June 30, 2023, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) reserves increased $393 million to $4,462.7 million because of receipt of official government of Pakistan (GoP) inflows,”.

Earlier, the International Monetary Fund said that its staff and Pakistani officials have reached over an agreement. The announcement acted as a much needed relief for the South Asian country and improved market sentiment.
