ISLAMABAD: The federal government has declared plans to conduct a special anti-polio campaign in Sindh, Punjab, and Balochistan from March 25 to March 28.
This initiative targets districts where positive sewage samples have been identified, encompassing a total of 26 districts. Among these, eight districts in Sindh, seven in Punjab, and 11 in Balochistan are included, aiming to vaccinate over 8.2 million children.
The anti-polio drive will cover specific areas in Faisalabad, Khairpur, and Kasur, while extending its efforts to Ghotki, Jacobabad, Kashmore, Khairpur, Sukkur, Larkana, Shikarpur, Qambar, Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan, Rajanpur, Okara, and Rahim Yar Khan.
Furthermore, the campaign will be launched in Dera Bugti, Usta Muhammad, Sibi, Hub, Chaman, Khuzdar, Kech, Lasbela, Sohbatpur, Naseerabad, and Jaffarabad.
