LAHORE: SP Binaish Fatima has been awarded the prestigious International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) 2024 Award, local media reported. The award is a recognition of her leadership quality in law enforcement.
The Punjab Police spokesperson said that SP Binaish Fatima is currently serving as the Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) of Rawalpindi and is the only female officer from Pakistan to receive this prestigious award.
Binaish Fatima also is the first woman CTO of Rawalpindi and the third woman to assume the CTO position in Punjab province of Pakistan. The award was presented to SP Binaish Fatima in a ceremony held in Boston, United States of America (USA).
IG Punjab Police, Dr. Usman Anwar, has congratulated SP Binaish Fatima on her remarkable achievement. Around 40 police officers from across the world were selected for their exceptional contributions to law enforcement as well as leadership.
