Political leaders and peace
Following spending ten years in a refugee camp for the displaced people in South Sudan’s Juba Mayen Galuak also hopes that the Pope’s visit will motivate political leaders to restore peace, allowing him to go his home. He entered the UN refugee camp in search of security three days after war and crisis broke out in 2013.
Galuak said that they are in a bad situation since 2013 and did not see any peace in the area. He said that he could not visit his hometown due to the risk of attack.
