Sons of Pakistan have Skills to Conquer Space: PM

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has congratulated the nation and scientists for sending Pakistan’s first satellite to the moon, local media reported on Friday.

He stated that ‘ICUBE Qamar’ satellite is the nation’s first step into space. Like the nuclear field, our engineers and scientists are working hard in this field as well, the PM remarked. Prime Minster Shehbaz Sharif paid tribute to the committee of the Institute Of Space Technology, its member Dr. Khurram Khurshid, all the team including SPARCO, particularly the students who took part in the project. He added the Pak-China friendship today has crossed the border of space as well.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif maintained that this achievement will enhance the nation’s capabilities in the sector of satellite communications, and also create new opportunities for research, economic progress and national security.

Prime Minister stated the sons of Pakistan proved that they have the ability, passion and skills to conquer even space.
