ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Information Minister, Murtaza Solangi, said on Saturday that the constitutional procedure would be adhered to following the demise of the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
Taking to the social media platform X, the Information Minister said that the spirit of the Constitution is crystal clear.
Solangi further said in his post that the Governor, Chief Secretary, and the entire provincial government would carry out their responsibilities in accordance with the constitutional framework.

He reassured that there was no crisis, and the appointment of a new Chief Minister for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was imminent.
Solangi categorically dismissed any room for speculation, asserting that the process would unfold smoothly as per constitutional guidelines.
Earlier today in the morning, the Caretaker Chief Minister Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Muhammad Azam Khan died at a local hospital a day after he was admitted to an intensive care unit of a Peshawar hospital after he fell unwell.
