RIYADH: The Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants (SOCPA) will host the Accounting Technologies Conference at the Hilton Hotel in Riyadh from October 16 to 19, alongside the Accounting Solutions Hackathon 2, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
The SPA reported that the conference will be held under the theme “The Role of Technology and Artificial Intelligence in Advancing the Accounting and Financial Sectors.”

SOCPA chief executive Ahmad Al-Meghames has highlighted that the conference, as the first event of its kind, will delve into the latest technologies benefiting the accounting and auditing profession across four panel discussions and eighteen specialized workshops, while projecting the future of the sector amid international technological progress, the SPA further reported.
