BEIJING: Snowy and rainy weather is expected from Monday night to Thursday in southern China, the country’s weather department said Monday.
According to National Meteorological Center, heavy snowfall to snowstorms is expected to hit some parts of China, such as Hunan, Guizhou, Hubei, Chongqing, and Tibet Autonomous Region, from Tuesday to Wednesday.
Record snowfall
Some parts may see the depth of snow reach twelve to sixteen centimeters.
In the meantime, freezing rain will lash parts of Yunnan, Jiangxi, Sichuan, Guangdong, Hunan, Fujian, Guizhou, Guangxi, and Zhejiang.
