PESHAWAR: The price of fruits and vegetables for daily consumption in Peshawar has increased manifolds, which has grumbled the citizens.
According to details, the price of ginger rose to 1100, while the cost of lemon 130 and garlic 380 per kg remained the same.
Furthermore, onion is 60 rupees per kg, fresh bean 150, capsicum 180, tomato 100, green pepper 40, okra 70, potatoes 120, Kachalu 120, cauliflower 120, eggplant 100, and zucchini is being sold per 70 rupees kg.
However, among fruits, Mangoes price has reached 250 to 300 rupees per kilo, apples 180 rupees, peaches 170 grapes 310, and bananas are sold at 150 rupees per dozen.
The chicken meat price in the market has also reached 410 rupees per kg.
