LAHORE: At least six members of the same family were killed and three other injured in a road accident in Muridke on late Friday night, local media reported.
As per media reports, the accident took place on the Grand Trunk (GT) Road in the Rayanpur area of Muridke. It occurred when a mini-truck, being driven recklessly, collided head-on with a car, resulting in the instant death of six individuals and injuring three others.
After receiving the alert, police and rescue teams arrived at the site quickly and shifted both the deceased and the injured to a nearby hospital. A woman and three children were among the killed persons.
