ISLAMABAD: At least six members of a family were trapped under the rubble of a two-storey building that collapsed early Saturday morning in Shahdara Town of Lahore.
According to Rescue 1122, a couple and their four children were asleep on the ground floor of the house when the roof collapsed, injuring the persons.
The family members got trapped under the debris. The incident spread panic in the neighbourhood.
The local people rushed to the site and called rescue officials. Rescuers have launched a rescue operation.
Rescue teams have pulled out six injured persons from the rubble and shifted two critically injured persons to a nearby hospital. —APP
