ISLAMABAD: Jamat-e-Islami (JI) chief Sirajul Haq has urged Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to take the country out of the political impasse and end the crisis in Pakistan.
In a telephonic conversation on Saturday, the PM and the JI leader also exchanged greetings on the occasion of Eidul Fitr.
PM Shehbaz informed Sirajul Haq that he has been consulting with allied parties to find a solution to the ongoing crisis and has called a meeting on April 26.

The JI chief also held separate meetings with PTI Chairman Imran Khan and PM Shehbaz Sharif in Lahore to bring the government and opposition closer and resolve the political crisis.
Sirajul Haq urged both parties to sit on the negotiation table. In response, PTI formed a three-member committee to hold a dialogue on the crisis, comprising Pervaiz Khattak, Ejaz Chaudhary and Mian Mahmoodur Rasheed.
