ISLAMABAD: The Sindh High Court has rejected the petition against releasing the film “Joyland.”
A hearing was held in the Sindh High Court against the request of the film Joyland, during which the court gave a safe decision against the release of the film.

During the hearing, the court said that unnecessary censorship suffocates society and stops the creativity of society.
Joyland: Censor Board issued exhibition certificate
The court said that the Censor Board issued the exhibition certificate after reviewing the film as per the rules; freedom of expression cannot be restricted because of one person.

The court made it clear that the High Court has no authority to ban the filmmaker’s freedom of expression, every citizen has the right to freedom of expression, and the Censor Board or the relevant body has the authority to ban the film.
The court rejected the petition against the film’s release while giving a safe verdict.
