KARACHI: Sidh government is planning to develop a Marble City Karachi (MCK) on three hundred acres of land which will attract about investment of 50 million dollars, Special Assistant to Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Qasim Naveed Qamar said on Wednesday.
The project will offer utilities at the doorstep, modern infrastructure, and easy access to the ports of Karachi, as it is ideally situated on the Northern Bypass in Karachi, with the rest of the country.
Sindh Government Project to provide purpose-built, secure industrial zone
Sindh Economic Zones Management Company CEO Abdul Aleem Uqaili briefed the relevant authorities about the project and said that it was launched through the International Competitive Bidding process on November 17. He said that it was advertised in all major national newspapers.
The project is aimed to provide a purpose-built and secure industrial zone for the granite and marble sector as well as the allied industries in the metropolitan city. – APP
