ISLAMABAD: Dr. Shireen Mazari, a leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, and PTI Senator Falak Naz have been re-arrested by the Islamabad police from outside the Adiala Jail shortly after the Islamabad High Court granted Mazari bail.
Mazari’s daughter, Imaan-Hazir Mazari, confirmed the arrests and expressed concern about their whereabouts.
Imaan-Hazir Mazari took to Twitter to share the news, stating that they were waiting outside the jail to receive Mazari and Senator Falak Naz when they were arrested by the Islamabad Police. She further mentioned that they were taken into custody from a location outside the designated exit point where they had been instructed to wait.
Senator Falak Naz's family and I (& our lawyer) were waiting outside Adiala Jail to receive ama and Falak Naz. Islamabad Police arrested them from outside the jail while we were waiting outside the exit they told us to wait at. We have no idea where they have been taken.

IHC grants temporary relief to Fawad Chaudhry
In a separate development, PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry, who had earlier managed to evade arrest after his release, has obtained temporary relief from the Islamabad High Court. IHC has issued an order prohibiting the police from arresting Fawad Chaudhry for a period of two days.
The decision was made by Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb during the hearing. The judge noted that the court had been informed about two cases against Chaudhry, based on which bail had been granted in those particular cases.
