DUBAI: Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum on Thursday welcomed the participants in the COP28 summit at Expo City Dubai.
Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid said on the social media platform “X” that we welcome in the UAE more than seventy thousand guests from 198 countries; heads of state, government leaders, ministers, officials of companies and international organizations, media professionals, and academics who have arrived in our country to discuss one issue which is preserving our planet for future generations.
He added that the mission is great and the challenges are big, but history teaches us that the meeting of people, their cooperation, and the unification of their efforts was and still is the greatest secret to the prosperity of their civilizations and their continued progress.

Sheikh Mohammed said that all the best to everyone in this humanitarian mission, and we renew our confidence in our national team by hosting and holding this exceptional international event in the UAE.
