According to Kuwait News Agency, Saad Al-Barrak was named as the new Minister for Oil in the government.

Local media reported that Sheikh Ahmad Fahad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, was appointed as new Minister for Defense.
Earlier, Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Sabah was appointed as Prime Minister by Kuwait’s Crown Prince.
Kuwaitis flocked to polling stations nationwide in their third parliament elections. The general elections, called by the Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Sabah, witnessed a great turnout, particularly among senior citizens who actively participated in the voting process.
