Shakib, Rizwan Make It To ICC Men’s T20I Top Ranking

DUBAI: Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan, with 266 rating points, has reclaimed the number one spot for all-rounders in T20 internationa cricket, according to the International Cricket Council’s updated men’s T20I rankings ahead of the World Cup in Australia.

Afghanistan’s Mohammad Nabi (246) and England’s Moeen Ali (188) have made it to the second and third spots respectively.

Pakistan opener Mohammad Rizwan  with 861 rating points retained his lead at the T20I batters list.

India’s Suryakumar Yadav with 838 points maintained the second spot, with Pakistani skipper Babar Azam (808) being third on the list.

Australia seamer Josh Hazlewood with 705 rating points maintained the top spot for T20I bowlers, followed by Afghanistan tweaker Rashid Khan with 696 points and Sri Lanka spinner Wanindu Hasaranga with 692 points at second and third.

Warm up matches of the eighth ICC Men’s T20 World Cup tournament have commenced in Australia from October 16.
