RIYADH: Pakistan’s pace bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi, who is in Saudi Arabia, has performed Umrah.

Taking to two social media platforms — Instagram and Twitter — the fast bowler shared a picture of himself at the holy Khana-e-Ka’aba. He captioned the picture as “Alhamdulillah,”.

Soon after Shaheen posted the picture on social media, fans and supporters flooded the comments section with praises for the pace bowler.

Sajid Khan, A Pakistani cricketer who made his international debut for the Pakistan national team in April 2021, also congratulated Shaheen Shah Afridi.

Shaheen Shah Afridi recovering from injury

Shaheen, who was recovering from a knee injury, is ready to return to action, as he has fully recovered from the knee injury. The injury has kept him out of action since November 2022.

“I have about 55 overs under my belt during training, and I am ready to feature in all forms of cricket,” said Shaheen Shah while talking to the media.

Shaheen said that he was bowling as he used to before the knee injury and that he was ready to return to the field once again.

Shaheen Shah is currently not a part of the Pakistan national cricket squad since the 22-year-old is recovering from an injury he suffered during the Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 final against England on November 13.
