ISLAMABAD: Shaheen Shah Afridi, who led Lahore Qalandars to their third Pakistan Super League (PSL) title in four years during the PSL 10 final last night, has been named captain of the Team of the Tournament.

The distinguished commentary panel selected the PSL 10 Team of the Tournament, following the competition which ran from 11 April to 25 May.

In the final, the Qalandars triumphed over Quetta Gladiators by six wickets at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.

Afridi not only earned the Fazal Mahmood Cap as the tournament’s leading wicket-taker with 19 scalps, but was also named skipper of the side, which includes two of his Qalandars teammates.

Sikandar Raza (11 matches, 254 runs, two fifties, 10 wickets) and Fakhar Zaman (13 matches, 439 runs, four fifties) secured their spots in the side thanks to outstanding displays throughout the tournament.
