MUMBAI: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has revealed how his signature “arms out” pose originated with the help of a renowned choreographer.
Throughout his career, the “Dunki” star has given multiple iconic performances, but his signature “arms out’ pose remains permanent in almost all of his films.
Now, Shah Rukh Khan has given credit to legendary Bollywood choreographer Saroj Khan for his iconic pose.
During the 77th Locarno Film Festival, Shah Rukh Khan, the star of the “Raees”, shared the story behind the iconic pose, revealing that Saroj Khan told him to simply stretch his arms out when he struggled to perform a specific dance step.
Khan revealed that Bollywood actors in the 90s were supposed to know how to ‘dip’ during dance performances.
However, Khan struggled to execute the step and was left ashamed on set. “I felt very ashamed of myself and the whole night I kept doing this”, he added.
