ISLAMABAD: Islamabad United’s captain, Shadab Khan, has expressed his confidence in Imad Wasim’s ability to replicate his impressive performances from previous seasons as the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) approaches.
Imad Wasim’s remarkable performance in last season’s final, where he claimed five wickets against Multan Sultans, continues to serve as a benchmark for his contributions to the team, according to Cricket Pakistan.
“He is an experienced player and a superb all-rounder,” Shadab said.
“However, this is a team sport, and no single player can carry the team on their own. We saw that in the last tournament as well. Imad Wasim delivered outstanding bowling performances in the final few matches, and we’re pleased that he’s in good form. We hope he can maintain that form this year and assist the team in achieving success,” he added.
