KASHMORE (SINDH), Pakistan: In a tragic incident on Monday, at least seven people lost their lives while 18 were injured in a collision between a truck and two passenger vans in Kandhkot city of Kashmore district in Sindh.
The traffic mishap occurred near a cadet college on the Indus Highway. According to rescue sources, the wounded individuals have been moved to a hospital, with several of them in critical condition.
Hospitals of Karampur, Kandhkot, and Ghauspur have been put on high alert and instated emergency measures.
Meanwhile, in the Faiz Ganj tehsil of Khairpur district, Sindh, three individuals sustained injuries in a collision involving two trucks and a wagon. Among the injured is the driver of one of the trucks. Two of the casualties in critical condition were shifted to a hospital in Nawabshah.
Law enforcement attributes the accident to dense fog, emphasizing the adverse weather conditions as a contributing factor.
