Seven Kashmiri Laborers Killed in Uttar Pradesh Explosion

ISLAMABAD: At least seven laborers from Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K) were killed in an explosion in the Uttar Pradesh state of India.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the laborers of the Jammu region of IIOJ&K died after a cold storage plant’s compressor exploded in the Daurala Meerut area of Uttar Pradesh.

At least 25 laborers were present at the time of the explosion in the cold storage plant, an Indian official told the media.

He said some laborers were evacuated safely, while seven belonging to Jammu and Kashmir had died among the deceased.

The deceased have been identified as Balbir Singh, Balwant, Baldev, Ramesh Lal, Sat Pal, and Kalu, all residents of Hoshiywar Singh and Udhampur of Ramban.
