ISLAMABAD: In a scintillating display of football the FIFA World Cup’s Group G match between Serbia and Cameroon ended in a 3-3 draw at Qatar’s Al Janoubi Stadium.
With 15 percent of ball possession being contested; Serbia had 47 percent and Cameroon 37 percent with the midfield seeing a high-octane play.
Cameroon’s Jean-Charles Castelleto drew first blood in the 29th minute, however, Serbia came back strongly in the first half’s injury time with Strahinja Pavlovic and Sergej Melenkovic-Savic scoring in the 45+1 minute and 45+3 minute.
At the end of the first half, Serbia led 2-1. In the 53rd minute Serbia scored their third goal.

Cameroon came back sharply and with goals by Vincent Abubakar in the 64th minute and Eric-Maxim Choupo-Moting made the score 3-3.
Till the end of the game, neither of the teams was able to take the lead once more.
Later in the day, the second game of Group G will take place between Brazil and Switzerland.
