MULTAN: After the attack on Makkarwal police station on Tuesday night in Mianwali by armed militants, the security of district police stations has been beefed up across Punjab.
A police spokesman said that sharp lights had been installed at all four corners of the police stations, with increased security ensured around them.
Security all-high
SHO of Dera Din Panah police station, Malik Yaseen, said police were on all-high alert to repulse any attack on the stations under the renewed direction of IG Punjab.
He said they were ready to protect the lives and property of the masses and prepared to stop any malicious activity by the enemies of the nation. — APP
