RAWALPINDI: An Intelligence-Based Operation conducted by the Pakistan security forces in the general area Datta Khel, North Waziristan (NW) District on Wednesday night, killed nine terrorists, according to a press release issued by the ISPR here on Thursday.
The operation was followed by sanitization of the area by security personnel, during which three more terrorists were gunned down after a heavy exchange of fire. Ammunition and weapons were also recovered from the killed terrorists.
ISPR says locals hailed operation
Locals of the area appreciated the response of the security forces and expressed their full support to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the area, according to the ISPR.
