LAHORE: The Punjab government has imposed Section 144 in five districts in order to maintain law and order, local media reported on Saturday.
The Punjab government has imposed Section 144 in five districts including Layyah, Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur, Muzaffargarh, and Kot Addu. A notification by the home department has also been shared in this connection.
According to the notification, any rally, sit-in and political gathering will not be allowed from Oct 12 to Oct 14. The latest imposition of Section 144 was said to be finalized following requests from the districts administrations.
