ISLAMABAD: A three-member Supreme Court of Pakistan bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan will hear the petitions related to holding general elections in 90 days on October 23 (Monday).
Justice Athar Minallah and Justice Aminuddin Khan are included in the bench. Petitions were filed by the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) and PTI among others.
The Court has also fixed the hearing of the case against the trials of civilians in the military courts for October 23. A division bench headed by Justice Ijazul Ahsan will hear the case. The bench includes Justice Muneeb Akhtar, Justice Yahya Afridi, Justice Mazhar Naqvi, and Justice Ayesha Malik.
The top court has also issued notices to the parties. It is to mention here that the last hearing in the case was held on August 3.
