SC Reserves Judgment in NAB Amendments Case

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court (SC) today (Tuesday) reserved the judgment in the petition of former prime minister and chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan challenging the amendments made by the previous coalition government in the laws governing National Accountability Bureau (NAB) functions.

A three-member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice Umer Ata Bandial and comprising Justice Ijazul Ahsen and Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah heard the PTI chairman’s petition today and later reserved the judgment, saying they will announce the decision soon.

The court reserved the verdict after conducting over 50 hearings in this case for the last one year.
