RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan on Monday received a phone call from Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.

According to the Saudi Foreign Ministry, the two sides exchanged views on the latest regional developments.

Earlier this month, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, spoke on the phone with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

During the call, Prince Mohammed and Erdogan reviewed Saudi-Turkish relations and discussed the latest regional and international developments.

They also addressed a number of issues of mutual interest, including ongoing efforts aimed at strengthening security and stability.

Turkiye and Saudi Arabia have been steadily deepening cooperation across political, economic, and security domains, underscored by regular high-level dialogue and coordination councils focused on expanding strategic cooperation.

Both countries have agreed on multiple cooperation initiatives spanning trade, investment, education, healthcare, and tourism, with ambitions to significantly increase their bilateral trade volume in the coming years.
